Bullying Workshop
CREATE A WORKSHOP TO TEACH OTHERS ABOUT BULLYING!
Focus: Bullying
Educate others on bullying.
PROBLEM:
Bullying has become a major issue over the years. Bullying can have an impact on everyone, including those who are bullied, those who bully, and those who witness bullying. Bullying has been associated with numerous negative consequences, including negative effects on mental health, substance use, and suicide
SOLUTION:
You can host an event to educate others, such as students in your school, about bullying. They can learn how to avoid bullies, prevent from being a bully, and understand how to stand up against bullies for themselves and others.
STEPS
1. Plan! Decide how your workshop will play out. Here are a few things to consider:
a. Will it be a virtual or in-person workshop? (you can create a zoom meeting for a
virtual event)
b. Who will the workshop be directed towards? (elementary students, highschool
students, adults?)
c. What will you be talking about? (you can educate them about the causes of
bullying, different types of bullying, how to prevent from being a bully, and how
to stand up against a bully)
2. Publicize!
a. Make flyers or post on social media about your workshop to encourage many to
attend!
3. Hold the workshop! After all the preparations, you can finally teach others about
bullying!
4. Always feel free to ask for help, suggestions, or twist these campaigns yourselves by
talking to an officer from DoE on discord!
5. Fill out the Volunteer Form! Get volunteer hours based on the pictures submitted.
