MAKE A KID SMILE BY DONATING YOUR GENTLY USED STUFFED ANIMALS!

Besides being fluffy and cute, stuffed animals support children through the emotional ups and downs of childhood. A stuffed animal is a child's first friend. The relationship between stuffie and child is one of unconditional love, a love that is based on honesty and trust. However, not all children are fortunate enough to have enough money to buy stuffed animals. Their families may not have the funds for toys. They may be in a foster home, or hospital: somewhere where access to toys is limited. Luckily, there is a way to help these children obtain stuffed animals! One way to help them is through this campaign where you will be able to hold a donation drive to encourage others to donate their gently used stuffed animals to other children!

STEPS

1. Plan! Who will you donate these stuffed animals to? How will you publicize the donation within your community? What time and place will you hold the donation?

1. You can donate these stuffed animals to a local charity. Many charities accept gently used toys and distribute them throughout their networks.

2. Make sure to publicize the donation to have as many people come to the donation!

3. Hold a donation somewhere in your community where people can easily drop off their gently used stuffed animals.

2. Reach out! Email your local charity and let them know your initiative. Be sure to let them know why you desire to begin this campaign. If they agree to the campaign, ask them for their availability so you know when you can drop off the donations.

3. Publicize! Create flyers and post them on social media or around your community to encourage more people to participate in your stuffed animals drive.

4. Fill out the Volunteer Form! Get volunteer hours based on the pictures submitted.
